Tyler Junior College finiashed second and Lee Collee, third, at the 2008 Division I Junior College National Championships held at the Randolph Tennis Center in Tucson, Arizona. The Apaches had their chances on the final day, but Priscillia Villemond fell in the Flight #2 final, while Sureena Weir fell at #4, giving Hillsborough Community College the victory.
